AMBER Alert

There is an Amber alert in my area, for a 12 year old girl and her sister they are traveling with their adoptive father. Now the part that bothers me is the 12 year old girl is 9 months pregnant!!!!
Does this bother anybody else ? I'm wondering why is an 11 year old girl having sex, when I was 11 I was most definitely not thinking about SEX, this is becoming more common and accepted by society. Where have OUR VALUES gone, why does common society not have any RESPECT for itself anymore.

11/11/09
Another news story today they found the body of a five year old girl, they have the man on trial who raped and killed her (did I mention she was five). Then to rap up the story the girls mother is also on trial for solicitation of a minor, what does this mean ~ SHE SOLD HER FIVE YEAR OLD FOR SEX....................... does this bother anybody else oh and the man she sold her to.... her boyfriend the man on trial for killing and raping the little girl all I have to say is SIIIICCCCCKK and WRONG!!!!!!!!

Mourning :-(

Last night at 9:30 PM I went to go do my normal check
on MOM and pups, I did the normal routine~ I counted
all the pups checked out Mama then on to checking out
the pups to see if they were warm enough~ all were good
except one SHE WASN'T MOVING
I picked her up and she was
COLD ~ my HEART dropped this little
puppy was gone, I tried to prepare myself for this~ I
tried not to get attached, but when the time came I find
I wasn't as prepared as I thought
~HESTIA ~
I hope you find your way,
I hope you have PEACE
and even though we did not get to
know each other for long. You
are MISSED.......
AMEN

Gardening

This gardening GIG is a lot, I never thought much about it, I thought oh YES lets start a garden this year, there should be nothing to it, WROOOOONGGG in so many ways.  First off I started with way to big of an area ,my thinking behind this was " I should make my garden the size I ultimately want it to end up being  so I never have to move my fencing"(exact quote) . . . . . . . .   BAD IDEA #1.

Then I decide to ROTOTILL into VIRGIN ground, by my self, with a rented machine, I tilled for 3 days and only got a ½ inch into the ground. . . . . . . .
BAD IDEA #2

GOOD NEWS:  Our neighbor knows a guy we will call him MR. GEORGE, who has a tractor with an attachment that can till the ground WOOO HOOOOO !!!!!!

Now me being the procrastinator that I tend to be sometimes(always something more pressing to do YOU KNOW: Laundry, dishes,Blogging, watching T.V.) Waite's to HOE the ground and plant. . . . . . .
BAD IDEA #3

We had 2 weeks basically of straight rain, so here I am 4 days before memorial day (My deadline to have the seeds in the ground) trying to HOE this CLAY filled ground, it is sticking back together with itself and makes for some HARD WORK ☼ LUCKY I am not affraid of  hard work so. . . . . . . . . HI HO HI HO IT'S OFF TO WORK I GO !!!!!!!!!!!

What is on my MIND

86% of Americans believe there is a GOD our nation was built on the foundation of his commandments when our nation started they would have prayers in school and most everybody lived in the path GOD wanted us to follow (hardworking, and happy) but now we don’t say the pledge of allegiance in school anymore, post offices are being forced to take down posters that say “IN GOD WE TRUST” . Court houses are banning the 10 commandments from being displayed (probably because all the people residing there don’t follow them Example: Judges and lawyers ). What does all this mean to me:

Society as a whole is immoral we are not taught to fear GOD anymore which leads to chaos.

We are not teaching our children about GOD and morals anymore. Mother’s are not raising our children anymore. Most parents are not even at home to teach there children or even know anything about them.  Most children are in daycare where the providers don’t teach them, then they move on to school where we are not allowed to have GOD, where do our kids find him.  If the parents  are around they are  trying to be there kids friends and not the adult, then things happen like the shootings at Columbine or Virginia Tech and who does society blame not themselves, but the guns that these kids had, is that the answer, to outlaw guns so we can no longer protect ourselves, I think not.  We need to bring GOD back to our classrooms and back to our lives. I recently received two emails from my father in law that I would like to share:

Thursday, Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton , Colorado , was invited to address the House Judiciary Committee's subcommittee. What he said to our national leaders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful.

They were not prepared for what he was to say, nor was it received well. It needs to be heard by every parent, every teacher, every politician, every sociologist, every psychologist, and every so-called expert! These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness. The following is a portion of the transcript:

"Since the dawn of creation there has been both good &evil in the hearts of men and women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher, and the other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers.

"The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used.. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain's heart.

"In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA - because I don't believe that they are responsible for my daughter's death. Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel's murder, I would be their strongest opponent.

I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy -- it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves. I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best.

Your laws ignore our deepest needs,
Your words are empty air.
You've stripped away our heritage,
You've outlawed simple prayer.
Now gunshots fill our classrooms,
And precious children die.
You seek for answers everywhere,
And ask the question "Why?"
You regulate restrictive laws,
Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand,
That God is what we need!

"Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, mind, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual presences were present within our educational
systems for most of our nation's history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine's tragedy occurs -- politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts.

"As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America , and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA -- I give to you a sincere challenge. Dare to examine your
own heart before casting the first stone!

My daughter's death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!"

Thought you might enjoy this interesting

prayer given in Kansas at
the opening session of their House of Representatives back in 1996.  It seems

prayer still upsets some
people. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open

the new session of the Kansas House, everyone was expecting the usual
generalities, but this is what they heard:

Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask
your forgiveness and to seek your direction and
guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those

who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we

have done.

We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed

our values.

We have exploited the poor and called it

the lottery.

We have rewarded laziness and called it

welfare..

We have killed our unborn and called  it

choice.

We have shot abortionists and called  it

justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our

children and called it
 building self esteem..

We have abused power and called it

politics.

We have coveted our neighbor's possessions
and called it
ambition.

We have polluted
 the air with profanity and
por
nography and called it freedom of expression.

We have ridiculed the time-honored values
of our forefathers and called it
 enlightenment.

Search  us, Oh, God, and know our hearts
today;  cleanse us from every sin and set us free.

Amen!

The response was immediate.. A number of
legislators walked out during the prayer in
protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian
Church,  where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than
5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls
responding negatively.. The church is now receiving
international requests for copies of this prayer

from India , Africa and Korea .

Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on
his radio program, 'The Rest of the Story, 'and
received a larger response to this program than any

other he has ever aired.

With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep
over our nation and wholeheartedly become our
desire so that we again can be called 'one nation

under God.'
